My name is Pilar González Muñoz and I have more than 10 years of international experience working in Education and Learning and Development, my two passions!
I have been working in the US for 10 years in different roles, from educator to Senior Team Lead to Learning and Development Specialist. I have experience leading teams, designing online courses, facilitating in-person courses, developing innovative actions for onboarding, and recruiting.
I was honored to be rated as a “Distinguished Leader” in the last two years due to my results and leadership skills. Previously, I had extensive experience as an educator, owning a Teaching License from the Colorado Department of Education that enables me to teach in Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary.
My last role in Denver was Learning and Development Specialist designing professional development and wrap-around services for international teachers, including onboarding and professional development. I led the social media, the website’s design and update, and the design of a 1st-year Certificate for new hires.
In addition, I collaborated remotely as an Instructional Designer for Netex, creating technical courses for Amazon. At this moment I am working as a Learning Experience Coordinator for the same company, supporting the production and creation of high-quality materials.
Regarding my education, I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Education. I recently completed a MicroMaster in Instructional Design from Maryland University and a Project Manager Certificate from Google.
I also have great communication skills in English and Spanish. I consider myself an innovative and self-motivated
person, always ready to thrive and do what it takes to achieve our goals.
My supervisors usually define me as an avid learner, a leader among my peers, and a team player with my coworkers. I would define myself as very efficient, able to multitask, really organized, and empathetic with my colleagues.
