My name is Pilar González Muñoz and I have 10 years of experience working in Denver, Colorado, with excellent results.
For the last two years, I have been part of a school’s leadership team as a Senior Team Lead. I have been an Instructional Coach of bilingual teachers and Coordinator of the Early Childhood Education team, as well as participated in the recruitment. Some of my responsibilities were supervising, evaluating their performance, analyzing data, and planning and prioritizing the action items.
I have been honored to be rated as a “Distinguished Leader” in the last two years due to my results and leadership skills. Previously, I had extensive experience as an educator, owning a Teaching License from the Colorado Department of Education that enables me to teach in Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary.
I currently work as a Learning and Development Specialist designing professional development and wrap-around services for international teachers, including the onboarding. I manage the social media of the program and I am in charge of the design and update of the website.
In addition, I collaborate remotely as an Instructional Designer for Netex, creating technical courses for Amazon UK.
Regarding my education, I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Education. I recently completed a MicroMaster in Instructional Design from Maryland University and a Project Manager Certificate from Google.
I also have great communication skills in English and Spanish, and a self-motivated
person, always used to thrive and do what it takes to achieve our goals.
My supervisors usually define me as an avid learner, very empathetic, a leader among my peers and a team player with my coworkers. I would define myself as very efficient, able to multitask being really organized and empathetic with my colleagues.
